Can't restart after installing Lion

I have an iMac. I was running Snow Leopard. I downloaded and installed Lion and I can't restart my computer at all. I just have a blank screen.

Can anyone please advise?

What computer do you have? When you say you have a blank screen - do you mean you have that grey screen where a login should be?

Thanks for your question. I just have a grey screen. No Apple logo, nothing! I simply can't get past it.

Did you read the link?

Basically - if it is a grey screen - that kinda looks like the login screen but no login - then it is exactly what I described in that link. Follow the instructions there and see if that helps. The link has a link to another forum with even more information on the issue. Please read everything there and try everything suggested - if that doesn't work then we can try something else.
