Hey I currently have a 2011 MacBook Pro running a 2.3 Intel i5 with 4 gb of RAM. I want to upgrade from 4gb to 8gb. The specs are

- Double Data Rate Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DDR3) format
- 67.6mm x 30mm (1.18 inch)
- 4 GB
- 204-pin
- PC3-10600 DDR3 1333 MHz type RAM

This is what I am looking at buying unless you guys think there is something for the MBP. It seems like a good price and I have used Corsair in my PCs in the past with no problems. $48.99 with a $10 rebate seemed like a good deal but I am still somewhat new to MACs so I just wanted to double check first.

Thanks,

Thanks,

In my opinion there is no "best"....and with all that info it makes things too complicated. Just go to one of these guys for the ram:

...and you will be good to go.:) If the ram they recommend is the same as you linked above...great...you can still purchase from Amazon. Or you can go with one of the 2 links above.

Thanks Nick, it matched up to the same specs.
