I'm upgrading from an old Mac Mini (OS 10.4.11) to a new one (OS 10.6.8), and can't transfer my iCal reminders. I've tried Export and BackUp, and also tried transferring the iCal folder from Apple Support, but nothing works.
I did this a few weeks ago with another machine, and the answer was a trick involving deleting lines of text from a particular iCal text file which contained words like 'trigger' and/or 'valarm', or something like that. I've spent *hours* searching though, and can't find the reference to this workaround again *anywhere*.
Can anyone out there help?
