Cannot restore iPod I have tried everything

Hey guys,

I am seriously annoyed I love mac never had a problem before and invested in an iPod classic as I wanted somewhere I could put my body of music.

Four months later and error 1430 is coming up and it is totally unresponsive. I can't afford a new one but I have tried everything the mac support tells you to do I have put it into disc mode, restarted computer, made sure nothing else was connected into usb drive absolutely everything, so now with a few strands of hair that I have left I am coming to look for help from yourselves.

I would hugely appreciate any suggestions!

Give this a try:

iPod: Cannot restore or update in iTunes with error 1415, 1417, 1418, 1428, 1429, 1430, 1436, or 1439

Still not working - take it in to Apple. Have had a couple of friends with the classic that have had to get a factory reset done by Apple to get it working. It was free, neither of theirs were under warranty - yours still is at only 4 months old.
