The left earbud on my headphones is broken, but I still want to use the headphones. Is there anyway to reroute all of the sound to the right earbud, making it mono? I know one can make it so just left stereo or right stereo sound comes out but that is not what I am looking for. I just don't want to miss sounds that are only played on the left side.

There is no way to switch the sound to "mono" on your Mac without using an external audio amplifier. Just buy a new set of earbuds.

I'd think any of the $10 earbuds from Walmart would sound better than using mono through half a set of earbuds even if there were a way to change it to mono.
