how do I make my window larger?

How do I make my windows larger on my apple computer. My son just got off the internet and its smaller now. I cannot seem to drag it and open it like I can with windows. Its so small I can see my desktop Icons..

I forget to tell you all that I have a macbook pro. don't know if that helps, but I hope it does. My window screen is small, and I cannot figure out how to make it bigger.

Click and drag on the bottom right corner.

If you're using OS X Lion (version 10.7), you can resize a window from any edge. Simply move your mouse to the edge of a window until it turns into an arrow and click & drag.

Yea, but you can do that in Windows So I'm gonna guess it's not Lion

it doesnt give me that option. it doesn't turn into an errow?
