Hi guys,

I recently attempted to install an illegitimate copy of windows with Boot Camp. It failed upon reboot and got stuck on the white screen before the Apple logo appears. I reboot, and it still doesn't load OS X (Lion). The only way I can get it to boot now is if I hold down the Option key on boot, then it gives me the choice of loading my hard drive or Recovery drive.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening, and how I can fix it?

Cheers,

Once it boots, are you able to open System Preferences->Startup Disk and select your Mac volume as the default?

Yep, but the correct one (and only one) is already selected

Way... way too many specs to list.
Go into bootcamp, and remove your windows partition.
