Iphone in the States....

Im from england, planning a trip tot eh states for 3 week over xmas.

I have an iphone 4 at the moment on contract with o2.

I need internet access whilst there.

Can i take out some kind of 1 month unlimited data contract?

What are my options?

I'm assuming your iPhone 4 is factory or carrier-unlocked, because if it isn't then there's really nothing for you until that happens. Check with your UK carrier and see if it can be done for you, might involve a small fee. Or they might say no fee. Or they might say "no, period."

Anyway, IF your iPhone is unlocked, you can inquire with AT&T in the states (or an Apple retail store) about getting a U.S. micro-sim and a month's service (it won't be unlimited but it should be generous enough for most uses) for $30.
