How to rename your computer?

Can't for the life of me figure this one out. Help, please?

System Preferences > Sharing

Computer name.

Yea, I tried that and it doesn't change the computer name internally. My problem is I have two computers with the same name and its screwing up my mobile me sync.

If you are having the problem that I think you are having have you tried the following procedure:
1. Open the Sharing pane and give each computer a distinctly different name. It might be necessary to close the pane and open again to make sure the new name "stuck".
2. Go to the Sync tab of the MobileMe preferences and add both computers.

What doesn't work: Throwing a bottle of champaign into your Mac and yelling out the new name.
