Hi all,

Joined this forum as I have been trying to find the answer on the internet without success so thought I would try here.

I'm looking to connect my time capsule so as to back-up wirelessly but without running a cable straight into the modem.

The reason for this is that I live in a shared student house and so our modem is next to our TV in our shared living area - I don't want it there as it is a bit of a vulnerable location and so would rather have it in my room but still want the luxury I have of wireless that I enjoy during the holidays. So can you connect into a wireless expander or something similar or is there no way this can be done.

Any help / links / etc, very welcome.

Thanks.

You might be able to set it up as extend a wireless network if its compatible in the Airport Utility menu.
