Screen Burned Out

Emac & Tiger. Screen is burned out. Tried all adjustments.
Created new user and new user is OK!
Where is the Monitor Pref I can copy from the New User???

System preference pane, displays.

It sounds like the contrast/brightness has been adjusted. If you go to the display in system preference pane, and click on colour, set it to the standard profile (generic RGB etc) and see if that makes a difference.

If you are not happy with that, try to calibrate it yourself by clicking on the calibrate button

yea or boot into safe mode that might help.

also how did you create a new user if you couldnt see anything?
