We have some problems were not everyone is able to connect via the wifi and we think the culprit is the DSL modem. For one the DSL cable that goes from the modem to the phone jack appears to have a broken tip going into the modem which may be the culprit. Unfortunately DSL cables are harder to find, s we may need to go to the provider to get a cable. The wi fi router has been reset and once reset it works, until it acts up again. Anyone have any ideas? But I think this is the problem.

It's been a while since I worked with a DSL modem, but isn't the cable going from the modem to the wall jack just a standard RJ-11 phone line? Like $2-3 from the hardware store?
