Administrators: Yes I looked for an answer by searching, and yes I tried to find a section about changing file names, so please don't delete this.

Any way, I have been trying to find a way to change file names of the Downloaded files and haven't been able to find it.

Use Finder to go to the directory where the files are stored. Find the file. Right click (two finger tap on touch pad), Get Info, change the name where it says "Name and extension." (You may have to provide a password to make the change.)

BTW, Google OSX File Name Change and you'll find 9,610,000 results.

Don't even need a right click. You change the name for files and folders there the same as anywhere else. Highlight the file - press enter - type the new name - press enter - done.
