Over the last few days, my trackpad has been not fully functional. Every once in a while, I lose control of the arrow and the cursor jumps around a little bit. I can't do any of the multitouch functions during these moments either. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this and what my options are?

Does it seem to be cured after doing a reboot? Also, try cleaning the pad.
