I'm considering snagging a BlackMagic for streaming my Halo gameplay on TwitchTV. Does anyone know if my base 13 inch pro would be capable of streaming clearly at 720p or higher? My modem speed is usually 20 down and 2 or 3 up so i'm not too worried bout that end, shouldn't lag out my games at all. I just don't know much bout streaming, can a base model 13' handle this?

Mine has no problem playing 1080p on the Cinema display from a remote network drive, and it is the base 13" model for 2011. But, your video source is coming through a modem, so you can't be sure if the network speed uniformity or latency would allow that until you try it.

Head for Amazon' streaming movie section. Find a HD movie and watch the beginning of a couple of them. You can do that without purchasing anything.
