Mac Mini C2D 1.83 PRAM Battery?

Hi folks!

I recently picked up a Mini C2D (MA608B/A) that refuses to power on.

I've reset the SMC with no joy. I'm about resigned to breaking it for parts

One question however. Which way is the PRAM battery supposed to sit?

Currently it's installed with the positive side facing me thus:

Is this the correct orientation?

The PRAM battery only has two positions...the one it's currently in...and flipped. If you're not sure that it's currently in the correct position...then just flip it. If nothing changes (unless the PRAM battery is dead)...then it's not the PRAM battery...the issue is something else.
