Hi,
I use Word often and wonder if it (or any Office programs) will become iCloud-compatible. Not to mention Versions-compatible.

Anyone have a guess?

My guess is that it will happen sooner or later.
My argument would be: because of the least courtesy expected towards the users' community due to the indisputable popularity of the formats.

Considering that Pages and Numbers are MS format compatible and in parallel the Office for Mac is being sustained and developed, could there possibly be a turning point other than the one you imagine and hope for?

Then again I may be way off base and dead wrong.

I imagine it would support versions at some point but I wouldn't have thought they would implement iCloud due to the fact they have their own cloud storage system in windows skydrive.

Considering that MS has yet to develop Office apps for iOS, I wouldn't hold my breath. ;)

I would definitely like to see Outlook be compatible to allow sync across calendars - the way it used to function with Mobile Me.

Straight from MS:
Finally, the most common question – yes, we are working hard with Apple to enable versioning, auto save, and full-screen for Office for Mac 2011. I know your next question will be “when?”, and unfortunately I can’t answer that – but it’s likely measured in months not days – just to set expectations.
