I'm a noob with computers, but i'm even more of a noob with macs. Anyways, i just did a fresh install of Windows 7 on my Alienware laptop and i need to reinstall the drivers to get it working again.
However, since it can't connect to the internet without the drivers i need to download the drivers on my parent's iMac and put them all on this DVD+RW i have and then install them from the disc onto my laptop....
So i have the disc in the iMac, i download the driver, but whenever i try to move the driver or any file from the desktop to the "Untitled DVD" in Finder it just creates a shortcut instead of moving the actual file onto the DVD. Help?
