Ok, so I have Microsoft Office Mac 2011 installed on my new iMac and when I open a new Word template most of it is in French. I have tried setting the preferences to English, but the templates are still in French. This is for every template I open. If anyone can direct me to the correct setting I sure would appreciate the help.

Thanks.

See the Wikipedia explanation of "Lorem Ipsum". LINK The templates are not in French, they're in Lorem Ipsum.

Lorem Ipsum is Latin, not its own language. :)

It actually means "the essence of pain" or "pain itself," and comes from the writings of Cicero, the ancient Greek scholar. The text used for "Lorem ipsum" placeholder text has been "scrambled" so it doesn't make any sense, even if translated, but that's where it comes from.

PS. "French." LOL!
