Subtitle hardcoding

Hi,

I have .avi & .srt files that I need to merge into 1 .avi file so that the subs are hardcoded. Is there any software out there that will do this?

Running 10.5.8 on a PowerPC G5.

FFMPEG X will do it (and, mind-bogglingly, has just been updated for Lion after like a three-year hiatus).

iFFMPEG (the $10 shareware based on the same stuff as FFMPEG X) will also do this, IIRC.
