Refurbished items through the Mac Store

Hi All,

Does anyone have experience with purchasing refurbished items through the Mac store? I have a couple of macs already, but was looking at getting an additional iBook becuase I just sold my laptop (my last PeeCee relic). I would only be using it for surfing wifi and the such, and it has a one year warranty...it couldn't be too bad, right?

Thanks for all of your help!

Lots of people here in the forums have purchased refurbs through Apple, with mostly great results.

Use the "Search" function above and search on "refurbished" or "refurb." You'll find dozens of postings.

Go to store.apple.com.

Scroll down to the red "SAVE" tag on the right side of the screen.

Click it.

The refurb section is only on the US store as far as I know. International store sites, like the one for Canada, will not have the refurb/sale section available.
