Hi Folks

I hope you can help.

I am using OSX 10.6.8. Yesterday I found an old Norton Internet Security 3.0 disc and tried to install. It didn't play ball, so I uninstalled it. Now, whenever I turn my computer on, I am getting the message that:

Insecure Startup Items folder detected.
Items in the Startup items folder ("/Library/StartupItems/") have not been started because the folder does not have the proper security settings.

Problem is, I've checked the folder, and it's empty, just like the message implies. Can anyone help? The only option I get is to just click OK.

Help much appreciated!

And I wouldn't advise you attempt installing any other software fro '03-'04 without checking will it run on your OS. Especially software that installs itself into your system folders.
