VPN seems to interfere with my Wifi connection

I am running on a new Mac Mini with Lion. The wifi has been working fine overall and is very consistent on my PC and Blue Ray, but has recently starting dropping my connection about every 1-4 minutes while I'm connected to my company's VPN.

Our tech support is relatively non-existent, so if anyone has any ideas, please advise!
