Hi guys,
I'm looking to reinstall snow leopard on my machine (due to the HD corrupting the first time) its currently running windows without snow leopard. I own Snow Leopard but i do not have the disk. i do happen to have .dmg (i ripped the disk)
Now most sites i looked at for going to snow leopard via USB install said you must have a HFS+ partition....Windows cannot create HFS+ partitions.

So, i would like some help with the install. Is there anyway to install snow leopard from a windows machine via USB?

Thanks!

Right next to me, the drive is screwed and i don't care to fix it on this rig

EDIT: also the disk is scratched to **** and back

Ah makes sense. There are ways to do this pretty easily depending on the type of Mac it is. What machine is it?

Bump....
Still need help

If the disk drive on your MacBook is not working...here are your options:

- fix the disk drive in your MacBook
- purchase an external disk drive
- use a 2nd Mac...connect your MacBook to it (firewire cable) via Target disk mode, then do the install

If your Snow Leopard disk is no good...you will need another one of those as well.
