hearda bout it but havent seen it. one tenth or a percent just sounds like maybe they're not too strudy and some people havent been careful. but a defect where it scratches...come on, anything can scratch and people must be more careful

the defect is cracking screens,
Mine is fine, Someone I know had his screen crack, said he just had it in his pocket and yeah.

They will replace it though but it's a hassle.

Love my Nano

I've read all the complaints about the screen and the scratches, but I have a 4gb black one and I love it. I have had 20gb, mini, and shuffle, and my nano is by far my favorite! Just don't do anything stupid like put it in your coin pocket and bend over!
