I've had my 13" MBP for about 18 months now, but at the weekend it developed a problem where it fails to recognise clicks on the trackpad.
Gestures and scrolling work fine, but when I try to click on something it doesn't register. I have to apply an excessive amount of pressure on the trackpad for the click to register (i.e Beyond the click noise)
I had a similar problem for a few hours a month or so ago but that resolved itself. Could this be a software issue after Lion upgrade or is it likely to be hardware?
I am under apple care still. But am not able to get to an Apple store for a while. Will an authorised service provider carry out the repair? Will it be completely free, as I have apple care?
