epson printer problems with new software.

Hi im chasing some help with this my printer setup since I've changed over to OS X 10.7. I bought the printer new about 3 weeks ago and installed it onto my old software but didn't setup the wifi part of it. I upgraded the software when it came out and it says to re install the printer software but i can't get into the menu it just closes down so i dragged the files to the recycle bin and it won't delete from there either it got half way and has frozen and keeps doing the same thing every time i try. Any ideas at all? thanks.
