HELP connect imac to surround

Hi everyone

I just wanted to ask for some help with connecting my Imac to my surround system just so I can listen to music from spotify/itunes on my surround system. I've got an imac 8,1 os x version 10.5.8 and the surround system is a Samsung HT-P1200 Home Theater.

what cables should i buy and where should i plug them in? im really not into technology so i need your help.

i dont know if i have posted in the right section, but hope someone can help!

Look at the back of your sound system to see what audio input ports you have. If you don't know the names of the ports, compare them with pics in post # 4 of this thread.
