Say i click on a link to go to a new page, a pop up window appears asking me if i want to "open link in a new window" instead of just going to the page. Is this a setting issue or something one of you has experienced? its quite frustrating because you have to click around the screen a couple of times to get rid of the pop up. then you magically click the link once again and it opens as it should. its a strange problem i can't seem to figure out...

thanks for looking..

Moved to correct forum. Does not belong in the "Lounge" which is our off topic forum.

Typically that happens if you're clicking with two fingers on the trackpad or right clicking. Check to make sure you're not doing either.
