With FaceBook, Twitter, texting, and such it seems that no one uses IM like AIM, Yahoo, and MSN these days. Will we see the end of Instant Messaging in the future?

It hasn't ended and isn't. It's just shifted to IMing on Facebook (yes, you can IM on FB) and other services with video, like Skype.

Text IMing does seem to have shifted largely to Facebook, but audio/video IMing works great with Skype, iChat and Facetime.

I still speak to people using MSN Messenger as well as Facebook IM. I use Adium for both of these.
