Hi,
I've been a Windows guys for the last many years. I'm getting a Mac here at work, though, and, I'm really looking forward to it. One thing I've always had to do here is to connect to various servers around my company. They're all SMB servers, either Windows or Unix SMBa. And, being in Windows, all of the network drives I connect to are labeled with a letter—G:, H:, I:, M:, etc.
I'd like to connect to my Windows servers on my Mac, too. And, I'd like those connections to be there every day for me. I'd really like it if I could name those connections in a similar fashion to what I have now. In other words, from my Mac, could I name distant disk drives G:, I:, J:, M:, etc. etc. ??

Thanks a lot,
Peter
