Microsoft releases Windows Media Player 9 for OS X
November 7, 2003 - 17:32 EST Microsoft has released Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X. "Sporting a new brushed steel skin for Apple's newest operating system, this new version of our player opens the world of Windows Media 9 content to Macintosh users, enabling them to access the best audio and video on the Web," Microsoft says. "New plug-in support added for Internet Explorer, Netscape and Safari enables playback of Windows Media files right from the browser."

My Comments: Ill have to download it and check it out.

Yep.. the only time I ever use it is when a movie on a site only supports that format.. so I have to use it.. *shrug* not a big deal, plus it helps us to know what we really like about the software we use and what would be better..

Installed it and it seems to work fine. Seems slightly faster and more responsive than version 7
