MacIntosh HD icon turned pink when I was trying to clean up my MacBook

I was cleaning up files to deal with a MacCleaner pop-up that wouldn't uninstall. When I powered done and restarted, I noticed that the Macintosh HD icon had turned pink. What's going on?
