Hi,

I'm likely to take my computer to the apple store tomorrow, but for the second time in ~3 months, my macbook pro 13" (~1.25 yrs old) has a cd stuck in its drive. I've googled and tried the typical remedies, and I just want to ask: is this normal? It's frustrating to have to drag it to the faraway apple store again. Not sure if there is an issue with this particular computer -- have to say, never had any issues with my pc.....

The apple service centre took out my DVD. I asked how to prevent it in the future and the guy was like *shrug
Haha, hopefully won't happen again..

Easiest way i find to eject a stuck DVD is restart holding down the mouse button until CD/DVD ejects :)

HTH for you in the future

Cheers
