Hello I am getting the 13" MacBook pro.
I want to buy the "Western Digital My Book Studio LX external hard drive for Mac"... But it says it's compatible to run with leopard.. I will be running the new lion system.. Will it still work?

Yes, the drive should be fine. Whether the WD software it ships with works or not - ?? I would probably elect to use Time Machine rather than their software though.

I'm sorry, I'm pretty new to Mac. I'll be getting the WD tomorrow morning. I know on macbook's lion system that time machine is a software download but how do I use that with the drive instead of the drive's software or vice versa. If you could explain that in detail, so that I'm not scratching my head tomorrow morning lol.

Thanks again
