I downloaded Roboform and decided I didn't want it. I deleted it but noticed the toolbar in Safari was still there. I've tried everything to get rid of it, but nothing is working. I've tried reinstalling and deleting several times. I've tried logging out of the application on the toolbar, closing Safari completely, and then deleting. I empty trash every time. Nothing. My Safari started crashing several times after this download, and I really need to get it off my computer. Any ideas? Everything on my macbook (10.5.8 version) is up to date.

How did you delete it? Did you go through some sort of uninstaller?

From: RoboForm V7 Frequently Asked Questions
How to correctly install/uninstall RoboForm on Mac?

Starting with ver 0.5, the install/uninstall procedure is a standard Mac drag and drop.
But if you used an older RF version before, please follow this procedure:

Uninstall old version:
* Quit Safari browser, not just close its window.
* Quit Roboform application (the Editor).
* Quit RoboForm tray icon.
* Drag /Application/Roboform to the Trash bin.
* Delete user folder /Library/Application Support/Roboform using Finder.
* Delete user folder /Preferences/com.SiberSystems.RoboForm.plist using Finder.

Install new version:
* Download the latest distribution from http://www.roboform.com/dist/roboform-mac.dmg
* Drag RoboForm to the Applications.
* Quit Safari browser again.
* Start Roboform from Applications.
* Start Safari browser and you will have RoboForm toolbar in there.

I have already done all the steps in your cut and paste. The Roboform toolbar is still there.

I don't have the older version, so not all those steps were relevant. The last two steps don't exist when I looked for them.

I deleted by dragging everything in my file search of roboform and I also tried hitting the delete button. The items were in my trash when I emptied it.

Look in the safari preferences, under extensions. disable or delete the roboform extension... I personally like roboform. I just deleted 1password in favor of roboform.

Don't know why this entire thread was in the "Lounge"? Moved it to the appropriate forum - "Applications.......".
