Hello
I have mac pro early 2008 with 4GB ram (1GBx2 + 2GBx1).
Now I'm thinking of an upgrade. Ram modules for this model are sold only in pairs. The question is do I have to dump the 2GB module that is already installed if i bought 2GBx2 or 4GBx2 for instance? or will it work?

No. Pop in the new memory according to the manual instructions, with the older memory in the correct Riser.
