Lion crashes sporadically.. multiple times

Hey guys,

i have a 4g mbp running on lion osx10.7 right now.. occasionally while i'm in the middle of doing something (taking notes on pdf's, on safari, pretty much anything) the screen turns black and completely unresponsive to anything i do.. only thing possible is a hard restart. It appears that once that happens, it usually happens again in about 15-20min..

Just recently i set the setting to auto-restart whenever the computer freezes, and now whenever it gets that problem, it'll restart.. but still very annoying.. the problem only began after Lion installation.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance!

These types of problems are almost always a hardware issue, with bad RAM the most common. Have you replaced the RAM yourself? Run the Apple Hardware Test in extended/loop mode to thoroughly check everything out.
