So I got a new laptop yesterday, and I finally got Photoshop on it, and the next step was to install drivers for my scanner, a ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro (Which I NEED on a daily basis for my line of work). I installed all the drivers for Mac OS 10.6 and I even installed drivers from the original installation disk, and it does read on the Image Acquire program in Applications. The only problem is that whenever I try to scan, Image Acquire crashes.
Next I tried installing a TWAIN plugin for Photoshop CS5, and I keep getting an error message any time I try and install it.
Does anyone have any experience with these types of products? What could I be doing wrong? I've been told that Snow Leopard wouldn't support my scanner, but I called Mustek and they told me they know it works on my OS.
