Games not working, not even solitaire

Ok... so I partitioned my mac and now have windows 7. I'm trying to play PC games through steam, but anything i try to open it says my video card isn't good enough. I got a Macbook pro 1 year ago and it's way above the minimum requirements. can someone help?

Did you install the bootcamp drivers after you installed windows? The last step in the bootcamping process involves installing all the necessary drivers so that all that stuff works. If you put in your recovery cd with windows booted up the bootcamp driver installation should come up.
