Just upgraded to Lion...
I have never really played around with visualizers in itunes, but I want to start. There is only "itunes visualizer" and "classic visualizer" I want to install more. I downloaded some .qtz files and put them in the "compositions" folder as a lot of sites say, but they dont show up in itunes...
Any ideas? There are also more visualizers in the compositions in the folder already (preinstalled) that dont show up in itunes such as jelly..Id appreciate any help. thanks!

The answer to the problem is contained in the first line of your post.

Third-party visualizers will need to be updated to work with Lion. Apparently, none of the ones you had have been updated (or you haven't gone to see if an updated version is available).

Answer, albeit late.

This might have or might not have been answered.

If your looking for a solution to using non-64 bit visualizers with OSX Lion.
Do the following:
1. Quit iTunes...
2. Select the iTunes App.
3. Right Click(or Command + I)and select Get info.
4. Click the “Open in 32-bit mode” check box and close iTunes Info window
5.Reopen iTunes and enjoy!

Hope that helps.
