I am trying to download Lion from the AppStore. It has been "installing" for hours? How long is reasonable?

it's a 4gb file. How fast is your network connection? Click on 'Purchased' and it'll show a status bar btw.

Mine took 7 hours via a router in a room that's not even close to the router. Then another 35 minutes to install.

Mine finally finished downloading after about 2 hrs. I don't understand why Apple is only making Lion available through the AppStore. I would be wiling to pay extra for a DVD. Not all of us are on super fast networks.

Next month you will be able to purchase Lion on a USB stick drive for $69 I believe.
