- Mac Mini 2.26Ghz 8GB RAM
I bought Plantronics Audio .625 headphones for use on my Mini Mac (2.26 GHz late 2009 model with Snow Leopard) at the end of 2009 and have used them through their USB connection with Skype without too many problems. But I'm now needing to free up a USB port and removed the USB adaptor that came with them to use the 3.5mm input and output sockets. The problem is that while the I can hear through the headset the microphone doesn't appear to work. And yes, I've checked the microphone switch on the lead. If it’s a compatibility issue with Macs then a. I do have Windows XP on the computer through Parallels but I can't see how I can set that up and b. Are there any inexpensive Mac & Skype compatible headsets out there that use 3.5mm jacks or firewire.
Thanks.
Thanks.
