I will be purchasing a mac book pro this weekend and am a little tight on cash. What mbp will be better for gaming. I'm looking at the 13inch mbp with the 2.7 GHz vs the 15inch mbp with the 2.0 GHz. Which one will i benefit more from?

Thanks

Keep in mind the 15 has a better video card besides being stand alone so no shared
ram when activated.

15in hands down. The Intel HD3000 is really not programmed for gaming at all. It's best suited for doing light photo/video editing, HD movie watching, etc.

So the AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256MB GDDR5 on the 15 inch mbp makes it a little more suited for gaming then I assume?

definitely. i'm not sure which games it will run, but you should be able to play most current ones at medium settings without a hitch. I say medium because of the vRam, which tends to limit the rendering speed of textures.
