I have an older mac laptop
(intel based not Power PC)
It's about three or four years old.

That laptop has Entourage 2004 on it.
Will the Entourage still run if I upgrade
to Lion?

I'd like to keep that
laptop as a back up.
Thanks.

A rosetts by any other name

That's kind of what I thought.
I have about 6 old programs that use rosetta.
The only real issue is do I stick with
MS Word or convert totally to Pages.
Same issue applies on my other machine.
Flipping back and forth is a pain.
Oh well Thanks for the info.

Well, you certainly have a choice to make then. Office 2008 apps run well in Lion but some parts are not compatible such as MS Query and the Excel chart converters. Office 2011 is all Intel and will run just fine in Lion.

Pages, Keynote, and Numbers have been updated to support Lion and are available individually from the Apple App store at $19.95 each.
