Might be noob, and i guess it applies to all ipods but

I had my nano sitting in my car.. randomly a day later i looked at it and it was in "disk mode" had a check mark on it..
I rebooted the ipod and it now works, But im wondering why that happend or maybe it was just a messed up thing?

Was Next and Select pressed down? If you hold down random buttons for like 6 seconds, it will do different things. Disk Mode, Reset, Dual Boot Mode (if you have Linux on it), etc.
