Deleted my FONTS!!

I installed a TON of fonts recently and it slowed my system to a crawl. I foolishly deleted many downloaded fonts whilst deleting system fonts as well. Now, every time I use photoshop I get error messages constantly and it isn't running properly. How do I download the base mac fonts again? (Blowing my system away is not an option). I have a MacBook Pro and currently running OSX 10.6.4

...and yes - I've already tried reinstalling photoshop.

You can try downloading and installing the 10.6.8 combo update. You should be using the latest update of Snow Leopard anyway. Here is the download LINK.

is that like a security update?
