Hey everyone, I have a mid 2009 MBP with Applecare. I have recently upgraded the Ram in it to take it to 8GB, will this affect my applecare? (I still have the original ram). Anyway my battery according to coconut battery is at 84% lifespan and has reached 307 cycles. Now I do have an external drive plugged in for Time Machine. Do you think its time to get it replaced?

Way... way too many specs to list.
Since the instructions for RAM replacement (along with disk drive replacement actually) are in your user manual this is a user serviceable part. This means that the RAM isn't covered, and anything you actively broke isn't covered. This should not effect your battery warranty.

Ok so apart from the Ram im still covered with regards to everything else? Ok based on what I have posted re the battery, what are your thoughts, does it need replacing?
