i wasn't sure if this goes in the powerbook or airport & networking forum - but my question is - i have a wireless mouse/keyboard and the 20" cinema display. i usually keep my powerbook closed - does this hurt my wireless airport signal strength? cause i believe the antenna's are built into the frame of the LCD on the lid correct? I thought you needed to have the powerbook lid open to get a good signal, but does closing it really hurt the signal ?

thanks!

ps - i did bandwidth tests but the network is always so u & down its hard to get a conclusive result that way.

The antennas are in the little plastic windows on the side of the lid near the top.

Closing the lid moves them down about ten inches, so it shouldn't have much of an effect on reception
