iWeb widgets not interacting with editing

I have been unable to interact with the widgets in iweb. This is probably a simple answer but when I'm on one computer I can interact with the widgets such as the html and google maps widget. When I say interact I mean having the ability to enter the information into the window to create the widget. When I switch to my other mac I can't interact with them. I double click and nothing happens. Everything else in iWeb works except for this small annoyance. Any ideas? A preference perhaps?
